 Inter-Cultural Exchange Program
GHIG Intercultural Student Exchange is a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational organisation whose purpose is to encourage world peace through student exchange. Over 4000 students and host families participate in the many AISE programs each year. By opening your home to a student from another country, your family will be enriched in many ways.
Think of your life in everyday terms and consider the things you never take them serious. Now imagine looking at your world through the lovin eyes of a student from Ghana, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, United KIngdom, Monaco, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Italy, Spain,
YOU CAN MEET THEM SOMETIME TO COME. Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Thailand, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Suddenly, everything gains a new direction. You will acquire renewed appreciation of your life by sharing it with others. Hosting a student will allow you and your family a first hand look into another culture. You'll make memories that will last a lifetime, and establish friendships that joins the miles between countries.
The 10-month and above exchange yields the rewards of looking at our world through new eyes,as you create a wonderful reason to visit new friends abroad.

This program offers the opportunity for community members to become friends with foreign students, faculty, and visitors. Being a friend does not require providing home stay; instead, it involves helping visitors adjust to the community by inviting them to share meals, visit in your home, tour the area or take part in any number of similar activities as well as funs.
Exchange students develop leadership skills, self confidence and a greater understanding of the complexities of the world around us. This is why the best universities, as well as corporations and professionals, look favorably on students who have spent a school year abroad. They know that former international exchange students bring a higher level of maturity and a global frame of reference to their university studies and activities.
Host families feel they benefit from the experience as much as you do! They want to learn about your culture and introduce you to theirs. Many families have children your age.
Every exchange student has a local representative who is conversant in English and who will plan some social activities and be available to help you during your stay.
